Personal profile

Research Focus

My research focuses on gastrointestinal nematode control. In particular the interaction between control methods in farmed livestock; with a focus on the interplay between traditional anthelmintic, predatory fungi and plant secondary metabolites.

Research Interests

I'm interested in general parasitic disease in both human and animal models with a special interest in zoonotic systems. I would be particularly interested in the investigation of alternative control methods for parasiotic disease in liveastock, and how these may be utilised alongside anthelmintics.

I have experience and an interest in many aspects of parasite research, but would be keen to improve upon field experience. I have previous field experience but would like to improve upon this, I have also gained experience in laboratory techniques and epidemiological modelling of parasite control.
