Dr McGuinness is open to wide ranging PhD applications from candidates with both a clinical and science background. Her fields of interest include: The role of inflammation in dementia The role of diet in cognitive decline Clinical trials in Alzheimer's disease and mild cognitive impairment Cognitive impairment in longitudinal studies Previous research experience is desirable.
