Research Focus

Bibek's research interests include international investments, corporate governance, corporate finance, fintech, and textual analysis. 


Bibek currently delivers lectures in financial management and data analytics to postgraduate students.

Some of the modules that he has facilitated recently include the following:

ACC7004 Financial Management

ACC7011 Business Technologies and Analytics

ACC7003 Management Accounting and Control

Over the years, he has taught various modules, mainly within the areas of Accounting and Finance, at different academic institutions. These modules include International Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Financial Accounting, Commercial Bank Management, etc.



Bank of England Scholarship for studying MBA in the UK from among the bankers of Nepal.

Nominated for PhD studentship by Bangor Business School (SBARD)

Strathclyde PhD studentship (fully funded) for undertaking PhD in finance.



Bibek worked in commercial banks for more than five years before completing PhD in Finance. His banking experience centres mainly around credit analysis and credit control. He has delivered lectures in finance in both developed and developing countries.
