Research Focus
Brandon’s research examines how neighbourhood environments and cultural displays affect housing prices, property valuation, and local economic behaviour in Northern Ireland. He uses geospatial analysis, computer vision–derived flag data, and advanced spatial econometric methods to assess how symbolic markers and community characteristics relate to variation in property values. His work contributes to empirical finance and housing economics while engaging wider debates in spatial political economy.
