Brian is a lecturer in the School of Law, where he is the Director of the School's LLM degree programme in Environmental Law and Sustainable Development. He teaches both postgraduate and undergraduate courses in Environmental Law and EU Law. Previously, he worked as a lecturer in law at the University of Wales and as a solicitor in private practice.
Brian graduated in law from the University of East Anglia and also holds an LLM degree in European Legal Studies from the University of Exeter and a PhD from the University of Wales.
Brian is a member of the Agricultural Law Association, the United Kingdom Environmental Law Association and the Environmental and Planning Law Association for Northern Ireland. He is a member of the editorial boards of the Environmental Law Review and the Web Journal of Current Legal Issues.
