Research Focus

My Thesis research focuses on improving the assessment of dark personalities for the prediction of cognitive performance and stress. Through a systematic review, the psychometric qualities of dark personality measures were appraised. Network analyses were applied to examine the relations and structures of dark traits across measures high in psychometric quality. Now, the convergence in self and informant reports of dark personalities will be considered. Finally,
experimental methods will enable the exploration of the adaptive aspects of dark personality traits. The gravity of this research rests in the opportunity to shed greater light upon the multidimensionality of dark personalities, and the chance to help the literature further progress beyond the dichotomous thinking of "good" and "bad".
