Dr Ski has a keen interest in a broad range of psychosocial aspects of cardiovascular health, RCTs and mixed methods. With much experience in systematic reviews and eHealth, Dr Ski is most interested in evidence-based cutting edge projects that impact on practice.

Research Interests

My research work in progress includes: heading a series of clinical trials of an optimal health programme for the management of three major chronic diseases (chronic kidney disease, diabetes and stroke and carers); conducting an evaluation of a coaching intervention to reduce cardiovascular risk in an indigenous population; evaluating the feasibility of a novel online cardiovascular health intervention for men at high risk of heart disease; and investigating the impact of cognitive impairment amongst people with different forms of chronic heart failure.
