I am a PhD candidate at the Seamus Heaney Centre at Queen's. My research focuses on the relationship between voice and power in contemporary working-class poetry.
In 2019, I won the Sloan Prize from the University of Edinburgh and was shortlisted for the Oxford Brookes International Poetry Competition. I was Highly Commended in the Newcastle Poetry Competition in 2020.
I hold an MA in Poetry from Queen's University Belfast (2019) and an MA (Hons) in English Literature from the University of Edinburgh (2017).
