Personal profile


Early career academic with a history of innovative use of secondary data and advanced statistics to understand behaviour.

Chris’s research focuses on mental health and social dynamics, recently being published in “Personality and Individual Differences” (Q1 IF 5.11) for his work on “ostracism”.

Currently working on his concept of relationship symmetry, Chris seeks to redefine how we as a field investigate mental health quantitatively.  

Coming from a family of teacher’s Chris has a passion for education and has assumed numerous leadership positions in both Undergraduate and Masters programmes. He developed a model of “Hi-flex teaching” which was adopted across Coventry University’s School of Psychology.
