Particulars

Chris graduated from Queen's University Belfast, with a First Class Honours degree in Pharmacy in 2014. Following the completion of his pre-registration training in community pharmacy, Chris returned to to the School of Pharmacy to complete a PhD in pharmaceutics.

During his PhD studies, Chris continued to practice as a pharmacist in the community and prison healthcare settings. Upon graduating, he moved into a General Practice Pharmacist role in 2019. He completed his Independent Prescribing qualification in 2021 and has utilised this in multiple areas of practice, including hypertension, cardiovascular risk reduction and managing polypharmacy.

Chris took up the role of lecturer (education) in 2022 and continues to undertake locum pharmacist work in the primary care setting.
