Teaching

Ciaran’s teaching interests are in the areas of financial accounting and not-for-profit reporting. He currently teaches on the following modules:

BSc Accounting

Year 2 – ACC2004 Financial Accounting

Year 3 – ACC3010 Advanced Financial Accounting

MSc Accounting and Finance

ACC7001 International Financial Accounting and Reporting

Research Interests

Ciaran’s main area of research is in the field of public services, particularly the financial and performance measurement aspects of the charity and public sectors. Ciaran has published on issues such as charity accounting and reporting, the private finance initiative / public private partnerships and resource accounting and budgeting.

Ciaran is the Deputy Head of Queen's Business School.
