Particulars

Ms Clare Murray graduated from Queen's University Belfast, with a First Class Honours degree in Pharmacy in 2005. Following qualification, she assumed positions with Community Pharmacy and remained in this area of practice until 2016. In 2016 she moved into General Practice. In 2018, she was appointed Lead General Practice Pharmacist. 

She qualified as an Independent Prescriber in 2018 and has undertaken postgraduate qualifications in Diabetes and COPD. In 2020 she obtained a distinction in a post-graduate master's in Advanced Clinical Pharmacy Practice from Queens University Belfast.

In addition to her role as a Lecturer at Queen's University, she continues to work as an Urgent Care Pharmacist within the GP Out of Hours setting.

Teaching

She has been a passionate advocate for the education and development of others since her qualification. She has mentored pre-registration students, counter assistants, Pharmacy Technicians and Accuracy Checking Technicians.
