Dr. Clive Walker has been a faculty member at Queen’s Business School since 2012, following the completion of his BSc in Economics with Finance (2008), MSc in Finance (2009), and PhD in Finance (2012) at the same institution.

Research Statement

Clive Walker's research explores how information and sentiment shape financial decision-making and market dynamics. Using text as data, his work examines the role of narratives in influencing investor behaviour and market outcomes. Spanning both historical and contemporary contexts, his research investigates topics such as terrorism, the rise of cryptocurrencies, and financial bubbles.
