Research Interests

I am undertaking doctoral study, researching truth and inquiries. This project focuses on the role of truth recovery in dealing with the past using the case study of non-recent institutional abuse.  This research explores the extent to which inquiries or investigatory commission models can be used to limit a fuller or forensic truth about the past and the potential of alternative models.

Interests

I am interested in Transitional Justice scholarship in relation to non-recent institutional abuse and evaluating the effectiveness of truth recovery bodies in relation to same. I am interested in the concept of truth within the inquiry framework.

Receipt of a Department for Economy Studentship 2023.
