I am a Reader in the School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science and a Senior Member of the IEEE. I am member of the Editorial Board of IEEE’s Open Access Journal of Power and Energy (OAJPE). I have a h-index of 22 and I have published over 100 articles in international peer reviewed journals and conferences.

My research income totals over £3M and includes competitive national and international research council awards (inc. EPSRC, US-Ireland [DfE, SFI, NSF], British Council) and industry funding (inc. Statnett SF, SSE Networks).
