Commemoration and social memory in Northern Ireland in 2016: practices used to remember the Easter Rising and the Battle of the Somme

Research Focus

Served as Director Cultural Diversity with the  Northern Ireland Communiry Relations Council from 2010-2018. During which time I was responsbile for developing the Decade of Anniversaries Programme. This included the cenentaries of the Easter Rising and the Battle of the Somme. Activities included organising the Decade Roundtable and network with conferences, resource fairs, toolkits and publications. Graduated in 2008 with an MPhil in Critical Management from Lancaster University.
