Eleni is a medical doctor specialising in clinical imaging, artificial intelligence and safe care. Her clinical work focuses on musculoskeletal and osteoporosis imaging. She has been working in the development of an artificial intelligence tool and the design of a service to improve the diagnosis of osteoporotic vertebral fractures and the care of osteoporosis patients. Her current research on patient safety uses institutional ethnography to gain insight into the social organisation of learning and practising safe care in clinical imaging.
