Personal profile

Particulars

My research is focused around developmental psychology within the context of social relationships. Presently, I have joined the team led by Dr Jocelyn Dautel, working as a research fellow on the ‘Communicating ‘Truth:’ Consumption and transmission of polarized information amongst young people’ project. This is an exciting mixed-method project funded by the Templeton World Charity Foundation, which focuses on transmission of polarized information among young people in Northern Ireland.

My doctoral research focused on adolescents' school relationships and their link to adolescent school adjustment, both over time (longitudinally) and concurrently. Prior to my PhD, I have has completed two Master’s degrees, in Psychology and Psychotherapeutic studies, at the Masaryk University in the Czech republic. I enjoy both research and teaching, and I am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
