Personal profile

Research Interests

I am an electrochemist (focusing industrial applications) specialised in development of electroactive solid state materials for real world applications. My research interests are quite broad including conducting polymers, electrodeposition of metals, alloys, semiconductors,  electrosynthesis of metal nano particles, smart drug delivery, energy storage devices, petrochemistry, modified electrodes and solid supported ionic liquids applications.

I have been working as the Chief Scientist (Senior Research Fellow) for PETRONAS projects at The Queen's University Belfast for the last 10 years. Currently I am working in PETRONAS - A Malaysian Government based oil and gas company as Head (Project R&D Fluid Solutions Technology) Group Research and Technology, Project Delivery and Technology in Kuala lumpur, Malaysia.
