Research Interests

My interests include management of the Cardiac patient in an acute, outpatient or home setting. I am particularly interested in care of the younger patient, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Interventional Cardiology, and Cardiomyopathy. My research has utilised patient-led, co-design methodologies which maximise the involvement of service users/patients particularly in the area of prevention and risk factor management. In addition, I have a keen interest in Safety, Quality and Improvement methodologies. To date my experience lies within Qualitative Research Methods, however future research plans include use of mixed method and Quantitative approaches.
