Teaching
Gráinne Scullion is currently a Lecturer (Education) on the PGCE Mathematics course. She has taken up this post after 26 years teaching at post-primary level, including 13 years as Head of Mathematics in Rathmore Grammar School. Gráinne primarily taught Mathematics and Further Mathematics to A-level but also has experience teaching Junior Science, Physics, ICT, and Careers Education at various levels.
Gráinne is an alumnus of Queen’s University, obtaining her BSc in Physics & Applied Mathematics, her PGCE in Mathematics and MSc in Educational Multimedia. Her current areas of research interest lie in Mathematics Education, ITE Education, and Teacher Professional Learning.
