Personal profile

Research Focus

My current research focus is post-Brexit health governance, as part of the 'Health Governance After Brexit: language, legitimacy and accountability' project, where I am the Research Fellow.

I am particularly interested in the juxtaposition between policy narratives of responsibilisation and grassroots narratives on responsibility for health in the context of Brexit and post-Brexit health governance.

My overall research interests include critical disability research, the production of emancipatory disability research, and the potential of combining emancipatory and post-structuralist discourses when exploring resistance.
