Personal profile

Research Interests

Spanning from the late nineteenth to the early twentieth century, my primary research interests include:

- American modernism(s), with a particular focus on American modernist poetry

- Ecomodernism and affect theory (particularly horticultural and botanical modernisms)

- Modernism and Buddhism

- Literary theory (in particular feminisms and poststructuralisms)

My current research explores the relationship between botanical spaces, focusing on the private garden, and American modernist poetry (Wallace Stevens, Amy Lowell, H.D. and Edna St. Vincent Millay).
