Research Focus

My research group at Queen's investigates the movement and trophic ecology of pelagic species (e.g., sea turtles, elasmobranchs, ocean sunfish, and gelatinous zooplankton). We use an array of techniques ranging from satellite tracking and biologging through to geospatial modelling, baited remote underwater video and stable isotope analysis. Much of this work is driven by conservation policy and has been conducted across Europe, the wider Caribbean, South America and the Indian Ocean.
