Research Interests

I have special interests in Rural Health, Clinical Research Nursing and Practice Education.

Teaching

I am the module coordinator for the Year One Foundations in Children and Young People's Nursing and teach across the entire year one BSc (Hons) Professional Nursing programme.  I am also involved in the supervision of graduate-entry masters students on the MSc Professional Nursing programme (Children and Young People's branch).

I act as a link-lecturer for a diverse range of clinical areas in the Western Health and Social Care Trust and am appointed as Personal Tutor for undergraduate nursing students. 

I am MSC dissertation supervisor both for the Graduate Entry MSc programme and for the MSc Nursing programme.
