I can serve as co-supervisor on projects related to translation in the context of education, knowledge, internationalisation and global English. I am also interested in projects on translation ethics and recognition or any project related to German language and culture.

Personal profile

Research Interests

I am interested broadly in the use of translation in the context of education and knowledge production/dissemination. I am also interested in the global position of English and the way in which its hegemony affects the production and dissemination of knowledge.

Beyond this, I have an interest in translation ethics and in politics of recognition.

Teaching

I teach legal translation and community interpreting in line with my own professional expertise in these areas. Additionally, I teach audiovisual translation which includes the use of subtitling software.
