Research Focus

My research focusses on the dynamics of bacterial infection of macrophages. I'm particularly interested in opportunistic pathogens infecting people with cystic fibrosis. Consequently, I'm investigating strains of Achromobacter spp. I'm also curious about whether CF macrophages' response to bacteria differs. During my doctoral work, I investigated eosinophil cytoskeletal regulation and other aspects of leukocyte biology.
