His fields of interest include:
- DNA repair
- DNA damage Response
- DNA damage driven Immune Responses
- Breast Cancer
-Inherited Breast Cancer
Previous research experience is desirable although not essential.

Personal profile

Research Focus

I am a driven and focused Senior Lecturer in Molecular Oncology. I have an established national and international track record in DNA repair and related cancer research (breast, ovarian and blood cancers), with a growing reputation in cancer immunology wuth publications linking DNA epair defects/DNA damage with immuno activaiton through the cGAS/STING pathway. My focus is delivering, high quality, patient centric, impactful and collaborative research and have recenlty been awarded a prestigious Cancer Research UK Programme Foundation Award. I have pubclished papers in the high-ipact journals, Nature, Cancer Research, Molecular Cell, Nucleic Acids Research, etc.
