Optimizing compilers, thread-level automatic parallelization, EPIC/VLIW architectures, secure computing and energy efficient computing.

Research Statement

Lev is involved in the EPSRC ALEA project. He is investigating energy profiling techniques at the instruction level, effects of compiler optimizations on the energy consumption and abstract level energy accounting models.
