Lucy Baxter

I am available as a PhD second or co-supervisor. I have extensive experience in TV, film, digital and immersive content production. This includes running a production company and  as a producer and director of documentary, drama, independent film and digital content for TV/digital broadcast and theatrical release. My research is across creative enterprise, Irish cross border collaboration and the applications of digital content and XR/ virtual reality film in health, social care, justice and education, particularly emotional trauma and relationship and sex education.  I have several years experience producing for international film festivals and was co-founder and head of industry a new all Ireland international film festival, Docs Ireland, in collaboration with the Belfast Film Festival. This has included creating the first documentary focused international marketplace in Ireland. In 2022 I founded Sensalience, a Createch company which is in the Qubis portfolio.
