Particulars
Lucy is a History PhD Student, funded by the DfE. She completed her BA in 2022 at the University of Greenwich and her MA in 2023 at Queen Mary University of London.
Research Focus
Lucy is interested in social & cultural history, women's history, histories of domestic technology and energy histories. Her present PhD research focuses on the role of women in the home as domestic energy consumers and managers and as innovators of domestic technology at a crucial time of energy transition c1890 - 1930.
