Research interests include developmental disorders, in particular autism spectrum conditions and their impact on children, adults and caregivers; employment and education opportunities for people with disabilities; the archaeology and anthropology of children and childhood; children's grave markers, mortality symbols and identity in post-Plantation Ireland; the archaeology and social roles of National Schools in the north of Ireland pre- and post Partition.
