Personal profile

Research Focus

My research mainly focuses on the presence and impact of microplastic pollution in aquatic systems. I am interested in the processes that transport microplastics from coastal to benthic systems such as the deep-sea, and how these particles will subsequently impact upon the behaviour of marine crustaceans and fish species.

Research Interests

Microplastic pollution, decapod biology and behaviour, control of aquatic invasive species
