Teaching

I am a Teaching Assistant in Mental Health Nursing. I work as a Pastoral Personal Tutor for Year 1. I am a tutorial lead across the Year 2 Module Working Interprofessionally to Improve Mental Wellbeing (NSY2124). I also serve as a tutorial lead for the Year 3 Cohort in Developing Leadership and Professionalism (NFY3131) and Mental Health Interventions (NMH3135), Understanding the complexity of Mental Ill-Health across the Continum (NMH3136) and Applied Pharmacology (NFY3133). I am also an active member of the Wellbeing Ambassadors.

Clinical Experience and Research Interest

I am a registered Mental Health Nurse and a passionate advocate for human rights and community well-being. I have experience across acute inpatient and acute community settings, and as a Campaign and Outreach Officer in the Community and Voluntary Sector. I designed an outreach program for services across Northern Ireland on Mental Wellbeing and Human Rights. I completed my Master’s in Public Health at Ulster University in 2025, which explored the perceptions and perceived impacts of substance misuse support workers in Northern Ireland on Decriminalisation Policy.
