Marco Abbate is a PhD student and a registered pharmacist following his graduation with an MPharm from Queen's University Belfast. His currrent research surrounds the use of microarray patches, or microneedles, and the application of these to deliver antiretoviral drugs for the prevention and treatment of HIV.
