Teaching

I am currently lecturing part-time on the English Studies Pathway of the PGCE within the School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work. As well as this, I support the delivery of Educational Professional Studies through facilitating Collaborative Inquiry Groups.  

Interests

My interests lie in the field of Initial Teacher Education, with a focus on Post-Primary teaching of English Language and English Literature to A Level. I have a keen interest in the promotion of Literacy as a whole school responsibility, in improving Learning and Teaching and in  effective Study Skills for pupils. 

Research Interests

My research interests lie within the field of Education, with a particular focus on Leadership and on support for Student Teachers. I have completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Headship (2019) and I am currently completing my Master's in Education with Specialisms.
