I am happy to supervise PhD projects in the history of modern philosophy (of French and German philosophy in particular), aesthetics, and metaphysics. I have supervised PhD projects on, for example, Gilles Deleuze and educational theory, the question of art in nineteenth-century French philosophy, and the idea of freedom in the work of Martin Heidegger.
