Research Statement

I am currently undertaking a PhD in the School of Psychology, with Professor Cherie Armour as primary supervisor and Dr. Aine Aventin as secondary supervisor. I am affiliated with the STARC Research Lab in the School of Psychology.

My research focuses on investigating unwanted sexual experiences (USE's) and the impact of this on psychological well-being of University students in Northern Ireland. Furthermore, my research explores the role of alcohol consumption related to understanding sexual consent. 


I have graduated from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) with a First Class Honours in BSs Psychology and a Merit in MSc Forensic Psychology.
