Research Focus
Mengyu Wu is a PhD researcher in Planning. Her research focuses on local governance and industrial heritage regeneration, with particular attention to stakeholder roles, institutional dynamics and governance mechanisms. She is also interested in built heritage conservation and value assessment. Her current work explores both empirical evidence and theoretical frameworks to examine the instrumentalization of industrial heritage-led regeneration in China.
