My research interests focus on the economic and social history of the later Middle Ages, particularly on the study of migration flows and occupational structure between the fourteenth and sixteenth centuries. More precisely, I look into the movement of artisans between England, France and the Low Countries and their economic impact on urban economies. My first book, Flemish Textile Workers in England 1331-1400: Immigration, Integration and Economic Development, will be published by Cambridge University Press in 2019.
