Research Interests

-My research interests are "enzymes" and "drug discovery".
 
1. Currently, I've been working on both technical and commercial aspects of an enzyme for environment protection (and probably disease prevention and treatment).
 
2. Past experiences and main achievements:
  • B.Sc. and M.Sc in microbiology (applied, industrial, food, environmental and medical); M.Sc. thesis: microbial bioremediation of heavy metals
  • Biochemistry and microbiology research assistant
  • PhD in biotechnology (enzyme engineering and bio/chemistry); PhD thesis: the creation of highly in vivo soluble mutants, the study of the mechanism of functional expression and characterization of a lyase from a new resource; 3 research and 1 review papers.
  • Post-doc research in enzyme discovery for biocatalysis: discovery of a new lyase enzyme from a millipede; a new primary as well as 3D structure
