Research Focus

My research primarily focuses on metal casting, welding, metal forming, and the study of aluminium and magnesium alloys. A significant area of my expertise lies in thermal analysis and solidification processes, as well as the investigation into the microstructure and mechanical properties of metals, polymers and composites. These interests have been integral to my teaching and supervisory roles, particularly in advanced manufacturing processes and engineering metallurgy.
