Teaching
I am currently Year Lead for Undergraduate Programme (September cohorts), and teach and coordinating modules across all Year 3 modules (UG) and Graduate Master Entry Programme. From a Post Graduate persective I am the pathway/modular coordinator for the Cardiology Short Course, and teach across a range of specialist practice and MSc programmes. I am primary supervisor for several MSc students across a variety of programmes. I hold an adjunct Professorship in Mohamed bin Rashid University (MBRU), having developed and teach on several modules on the MSc in Cardiovascular Nursing pathway.
I act as Link Lecturer to clinical areas within the Belfast Trust, and am Personal Tutor to 25 Undergraduate Nursing Students. I am elected member of the Universitys' Academic Council, at a School level I Chair the Enhanced Disclosure Review Panel, Professional Misconduct Disclosure Panel, International Placement Committee, and am a member of the Education Committee. I am also the Academic Lead for NSS in Year 3.

My current research intererests is focused on cardiovasular health and education.
