Nicola Barron is a researcher on the GEMINI (Geothermal Energy Momentum on the island of Ireland) project. She holds a PhD in Management from the University of Sussex.

Nicola’s research is situated at the intersection of the marketing and  entrepreneurship nexus. It explores how institutions, new and emerging technologies, and policy make and shape markets. She has published in leading journals such as Industrial Marketing Management and Technovation. In addition, she has worked collaboratively with colleagues to produce high-quality policy reports. 

Nicola is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She has experience of teaching in the areas of marketing and management at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels at the University of Sussex and Queen’s University Belfast.
