Personal profile

Research Focus

I am a second year PhD researcher and a registered nurse currently working alongside Dr Gary Mitchell and Dr Stephanie Craig within the School of Nursing and Midwifery at QUB, co-designing a digital interdisciplinary educational tool about pancreatic cancer.

Research Interests

My research interests centre on pancreatic cancer education and digital advances in healthcare education. I am particularly interested in the development and evaluation of interdisciplinary, digitally enabled educational resources, exploring how innovative educational approaches can enhance knowledge, self-efficacy, and attitudes towards pancreatic cancer, thus supporting improved recognition, communication, and patient care.

The title of my PhD study is 'Co-design and mixed methods evaluation of an interdisciplinary education resource about pancreatic cancer'.

Particulars

I am a registered nurse with a BSc (Hons) in Professional Adult Nursing, and a clinical background in Critical Care.
