Research Interests
I'm currently the Director of the Centre for Technological Innovation in Mental Health and Education (TIME Centre) within QUB. My main areas of interest include the use of immersive and digital technologies, such as Virtual Reality and 360 video to support therapeutic practice as well as support the training health and social care professionals. I also have an interest in cognitive behavioural therapy and the treatment of conditions, such as PTSD, Social Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder and Depression. I've recently co-developed a new approach to participatory analysis of qualiative data (known as Participatory Theme Elicitation) and welcome applications for PhD or MSc study in any of the areas listed above.
