Research Interests

I have a particular research interest in mental health within our rural and farming communities.

 

Qualifications

BSc Hons in Mental Health Nursing

MSc Advanced Professional Practice

Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with the BABCP


My clinical experience includes, acute inpatient mental health and community nursing. I have worked as a community psychiatric nurse in the home treatment team, community mental health team and mental health assessment centre.

Teaching

Joint module coordinator – Working inter-professionally to improve mental wellbeing shared year two module teaching both adult and mental health nursing cohorts.

Tutorial lead – Formulation based nursing in mental health care

Tutorial lead – Vulnerability and Resilience across the life course
