Research Statement

Current research:

Adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) such as abuse, neglect, household dysfunction and violence can lead to negative outcomes in early adulthood across socioemotional and neurobehavioural domains. My research investigates how ACEs influence neurobehavioural development, and how attachment, optimal parenting and resilience may buffer children with a history of adversity from negative outcomes in early adulthood.
