Dr Peter Martin is Director of the Polymer Processing Research Centre at Queen's University

Research Focus

He has more than 25 years’ experience of research into a wide range of polymer materials and processing techniques. In particular, he has expertise in the development of manufacturing processes for novel applications, the influence of processing on polymer behaviour and final properties, and the automation and simulation of these processes. This includes extensive work on a wide variety of advanced manufacturing technologies applied to extrusion, thermoforming, blow moulding and rotational moulding of polymer and polymer composite materials.
