Research activity per year
My research focuses on sustainable transportation, specifically in:
(1) EVs and Battery Technology: I aim to improve EV battery range, charging speed and lifespan to reduce environmental impact.
(2) Low-Carbon Transportation Policy and Planning: I work on developing and assessing policies that encourage low-carbon travel, including reducing fuel-powered vehicle use, expanding infrastructure for non-motorized transport (such as walking and cycling paths) and incentivizing EVs and public transportation through taxes and subsidies.
(3) Urban and Transport Sustainability Planning: I examine how urban planning can support sustainable transportation by increasing green spaces and promoting compact city designs to reduce commuting distances and enhance accessibility.
(4) Renewable Energy and Electric Mobility Integration: I explore the integration of renewable energy sources with electric mobility infrastructure to increase energy efficiency and reduce the carbon footprint of EVs.
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
